Stephens County Site Terms

These terms govern access to and use of Stephens County Released Inmates. By using the site, you agree to the rules, limits, and notices stated below. Effective August 1, 2026.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or services regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered purpose. The site organizes Stephens County and Oklahoma public-record resources; it is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

Stephens County Released Inmates is a private reference that points to sheriff, court, corrections, supervision, and federal custody resources. It is not part of any public office, stores no official government records, and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file a request for a visitor. Some pages connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site lawfully and without harming another person or the service. In particular, you must not:

  • violate a law or legal access restriction;
  • stalk, threaten, harass, or intimidate anyone;
  • base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content;
  • attempt to enter an account, system, or data area without permission;
  • operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools; or
  • interfere with the site or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reporting Services

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither the site nor its advertising partners offers screening services. You agree not to use information obtained here for:

  • hiring, firing, or another employment decision;
  • tenant selection or a housing decision;
  • creditworthiness or insurance pricing;
  • licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Links

Links may lead to government records, sheriff and corrections portals, federal locators, legal resources, and outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. The site is not responsible for an outside service’s content, privacy practices, terms, accuracy, or availability. Review the destination’s rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • content is complete, accurate, or current;
  • access will always be uninterrupted;
  • the service has no errors, bugs, or security weaknesses; or
  • a partner search will return every relevant record.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing displayed here is an official statement from a sheriff, court, corrections agency, or other government custodian.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages connected with access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logo, arrangement, and code belong to Stephens County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish them without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted on this page.

Suspension of Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the service, violates these terms, or affects other visitors.

Oklahoma Governing Law

Oklahoma law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Oklahoma.

Severability

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
